Additionally, for shoppers this is the best time of the year, as sign of Soldes (sales) are all over the city. Mon. Dec. 27, 2010     LAX
Your trip to France starts by boarding French airline Air Tahiti Nui's direct flight from Los Angeles arriving the following day in the City of Lights, Paris, France. (D) on board

Tue. Dec. 28     Paris
When we arrive we take an orientation tour of Paris before checking into our centrally located hotel. Paris is renowned for its beauty, which will be evident as we pass some of the many famous sights along the River Seine. This comprehensive city tour takes us past the Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and much more! Hotel de Castiglione (B) on board .

Wed. Dec. 29     Paris
In the morning after our breakfast we start a walking tour of Paris along Seine River all the way to old part of Paris. Rest of day at your leisure. Hotel de Castiglione (B)

Thu. Dec. 30     Paris
The Versailles Sun King Palace is located on the outskirt of Paris, visiting during the week is better than on the week end. Your tour leader will accompany those who want to visit Versailles and facilitate their visit. Hotel de Castiglione (B)

Fri. Dec. 31     Paris
Today after breakfast your tour leader is available to help you to plan your free time to explore the sights of Paris at our own pace - Notre Dame Cathedral, the Georges Pompidou Centre, the Louvre or the impressive Musee D'Orsay. Wander through the shops on Rue de Rivoli or spend the afternoon in a sidewalk cafe. This evening the countdown begins! Welcome in 2011 in this beautiful and vibrant city. The Eiffel Tower or Champs-Elysees are the places to be if you want to be at the centre of the party. Starting at around 9 pm people start to flock to these famous sights, often bringing along bottles of bubbly for the wait. Bring in the New Year where you can see the Eiffel Tower, which sparkles with lights at the stroke of midnight. Hotel de Castiglione (B)

Sat. Jan. 01     Paris
This morning your tour leader is available to help you plan your day. In the evening he will accompany those who wish to visit Village of Montmartre. Hotel de Castiglione (B)

Sun. Jan. 02     Paris
Today is the best day to visit all those museums that you didn't have time to visit during your stay and of course there is a part of the city that is alive. Tonight is our last chance to sample the fine cuisine of Paris and to toast the memories of the past week! We have arranged a farewell dinner for you at Eiffel Tower follow by Seine River boat-trip which is one of the finest ways to see Paris - floating past the breathtaking grandeur of Notre Dame and beneath the diverse and spectacular Parisian bridges. Mon. Jan. 03     Paris
We pack up after breakfast and head home to Los Angeles. We say au revoir to Paris. If you prefer to remain in for a few more days, Hermes Travel and Tours can make arrangements for you to stay longer. (B)
