Sunday April 10
We depart LAX early in the morning.
Monday April 11
We arrive in the capital of China, Beijing.
We have a half day tour, visiting the beautiful
Summer Palace and locations of the 2008
Summer Olympics. Welcome to China! Oriental Bay Hotel (L)
Tuesday April 12
Today we visit some of the most historical
places in Asia; Tiananmen Square, the
magnificent Forbidden City and the Temple
of Peace. Lunch will be in a local restaurant.
The rest of the day is free to explore Beijing. Oriental Bay Hotel (B, L)
Wednesday April 13
After breakfast we visit one of
the greatest wonders of the
world - The Great Wall. We
also visit the Tombs of the
Ming Dynasty. We have
dinner at the hotel and then
an exciting Kung Fu Show. Oriental Bay Hotel . (B, L, D)
Thursday April 14
An international breakfast and we pack in
preparation for an afternoon flight to Xian.
In Xian we visit the City Walls, Grand
Mosque and the Old City area. Dinner is a
Traditional Dumpling Dinner of Xian. Sheraton Hotel (B, L, D)
Friday April 15
Touring in
Xian
includes a
visit to
the mystifying Terra-Cotta Solders and
Horses of the Tang Dynasty. There are
thousands of them and no two are the same.
In the afternoon the Provincial Museum and
tonight is a Tang Dynasty dinner show.

Saturday April 16
This afternoon we fly to Chongqing.
We take a brief tour of this big and bustling city;
the Erling Park and Three Gorge Museum.
In the evening we board our cruise ship after

Sunday April 17 - Monday April 18
The Yangtze River, the longest river in China,
boasts widespread natural scenery and rich
cultural relics.
Our shore excursions include The Ghost Town
tour of Fendu and the Three Gorges Scenery.
Among the countless scenic sights, the Three
Gorges has the most amazing landscape. It is
one of the ten top scenic sights in China.
Starting from Fengje County in
Chongqing City in the west
and ending at Yichang City in
Hubei Province in the east.
Qutang Gorge is grand and
magnificent. Wu Gorge is
noted for beautiful scenery,
and Xiling Gorge is struck by
its abruptness and boldness.
Floating on the river, one will feel like traveling

Tuesday April 19
After breakfast we depart our ship and visit the
enormous Three Gorge Dam.
We then fly to Shanghai and board a bus for
Suzhou, the Venice of the Far East. Metro-Park Hotel (B, L, D)
Wednesday April 20
Today we visit the enchanting canal city of
Suzhou. We visit Hanshan Temple, Tongli
Water Village the beautiful Asian Retreat and
Reflection Garden and a silk factory. Metro Park Hotel (B, L, D)
Thursday April 21
In the morning we board our bus and take a
short drive to the Garden City of Hangzhou.
You will be captivated by this beautiful Chinese
city. We visit the Guo Villa and the beautifully
landscaped West Lake and its park. We have
an opportunity to visit the Dragon Well Tea
Plantation. This ancient plantation produces
some of the best teas in the world. Metro Park Hotel (Suzhou) (B)
Friday April 22
We head back to Shanghai and tour this
exciting metropolis. It is said that you can find
everything in Shanghai.
Our tour of Shanghai includes the Pudong
developing area, the Bund and the City God
Temple plaza. In the evening we enjoy a
Chinese Acrobatic Show. Sky Fortune Hotel (B, L, D)
Saturday April 23
Today is completely at your
leisure. You can shop, visit the
delightful Shanghai Museum or

Friday April 24
Our final breakfast at the hotel and then we
head to the airport for our flight back to Los
Angeles. China is amazing! (B)
