Wednesday Sept. 15 USA - Beijing
Depart USA for Beijing by air. Cross the international dateline.
Thursday Sept. 16 Arrive Beijing
Evening arrival in Beijing, the capital of China.Upon arrival, we are met and transferred to the hotel for a good nights rest.
Friday Sept. 17 Beijing
Our full day tour of Beijing visits Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. Enjoya world famous Peking Duck Dinner tonight. (B, L, D)
Saturday Sept. 18 Beijing
The highlight of any China tour is the Great Wall, one of the seven man-made wonders of the world Spend time walking atop the Great Wall, then precede back to Beijing for afternoon free. (B, L, D)
Sunday Sept. 19 Beijing - Xian
This morningon our wayto the airportwe visit Temple of Heaven. Our flight bound for Xian,the historic starting point of the famed Silk Road. Upon arrival, we are met by our guide and start our visit to the City Wall, Grand Mosque and old city area follow by checkingto the hotel. (B, L, D)
Monday Sept. 20 Xian
The discovery of Qin Shi Huangs Terra-Cotta Warriors draws millionsof visitors to Xian every year. After our visit of the excavation pits, we proceed to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. Tonight, enjoy the Tang Dinner Show at luxury theater we are entertained by a stage opera of the Tang Dynasty. (B, L, D)
Tuesday Sept. 21 Xian - Lhasa
Morning flight Xian/Lhasa. Arrive in Lhasa at noon time. After lunch transfer to the hotel and acclimatize yourself to the high altitude for rest of the day resting. (B, L, D)
Wednesday Sept. 22 Lhasa
Full day city tourincludes a morning visit toPotalaPalace- themajor palace used to be the combination of residence of Dalai Lama and highest regime of lama religion. After lunch at local restaurant visit toJokhang Temple and explore local shopping experiences along the famous Bharkiluo Street. (B, L, D)
Thursday Sept. 23 Lhasa
After breakfastfull day tour includes a morning trip to Norbulangka Palace where used to be private palace garden for Dalai Lama, followed by visiting the Drepung Monastery. Afternoon visit to the famous Sera Monastery, followed by visit to the Tibetan hospital, see how the local people under the traditional Tibetan medical treatment. (B, L, D)
Friday Sept. 24 Lhasa/Shanghai
After breakfast we board a flight to Shanghai, the largest city of China as well as its bustling economic center. Our city tour of Shanghai begins with Yu Garden, Nanjing Road, and a stroll along the famous Bund. Tonight we attend a Chinese Acrobatics Show. (B, L, D)
Saturday Sept. 25 Shanghai
Enjoy the full day at leisure or take advantage of Shanghais dynamic shopping opportunities in the vicinity of our hotel. If you wish, an optional tour to the Garden City of Suzhou is available. Suzhou City tour will visit the Humble Administrators Garden, Tiger Hill and the Grand Canal. (B)
Sunday Sept. 26 Shanghai
This morning after an American Breakfast at your hotel we will leave for the Los Angeles. (B)
